Michael Viljoen has been involved in the financial services industry for 30 years and has been with the Sanlam Group in South Africa since 2003.

He is responsible for various credit risk and credit portfolio management functions, including governance oversight, for entities in the SanlamAllianz Group across Africa, as well as non-bank credit companies in which Sanlam Group has an interest, in India. This includes serving on the boards, credit and investment committees of affiliated companies.
