Shareholders are advised that Letshego Africa Holdings Limited has fully repaid the loan facility provided by the Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (“BPOPF”), together with all accrued interest, on 29 September 2026, being the maturity date of the facility.
The facility was entered into following shareholder approval in 2025 and was disclosed in the Company’s circular to shareholders dated 4 August 2025. The facility was provided by BPOPF, a material shareholder of Letshego, and accordingly constituted a related party transaction under the Botswana Stock Exchange Listings Requirements.
The facility formed part of the Company’s short-term liquidity and funding arrangements while Letshego progressed its broader balance sheet and long-term capitalisation initiatives. The circular contemplated bridge funding of up to BWP483 million, alongside management actions aimed at strengthening the Group’s funding and capital position.
Following the repayment on 29 September 2026, no principal or interest remains outstanding under the BPOPF facility.
The Company remains focused on strengthening its capital position and balance sheet, improving funding resilience and supporting the execution of its strategic priorities.
