Letshego Holdings Limited (“LHL” I “the Group” I “Letshego”) was incorporated in 1998, is headquartered in Gaborone and has been publicly listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) since 2002. Letshego is an inclusive finance focused Group with microfinance banking and consumer lending subsidiaries across eleven countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
In line with corporate governance standards and local compliance and regulation, Letshego Holdings Ltd confirms it has entered a closed period effective from 1 July 2021. The closed period ends with the Company’s publication of its Group Interim Results before or on 30th September 2021.
During this period, members of the LHL Board and all staff members are requested to cease trading in Letshego securities to mitigate potential internal trading risks associated with access to unpublished, price sensitive information. Unpublished price sensitive information is defined as information affecting a company, which if released, is likely to materially affect the company’s share price.
This notice is applicable to brokers and transfer secretaries, who are required to ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and local requirements.
