Frederick is the Group Chief Corporate Development Officer for Letshego Africa Holdings Ltd. Letshego Africa Holdings Ltd is headquartered and listed in Botswana and focused on delivering inclusive finance solutions to emerging consumers across 11 markets across Sub Saharan Africa. With a staff compliment of over 2,800 regionally – including both direct and indirect sales agents – and more than four hundred thousand customers, Letshego is synonymous with leveraging innovation and technology to improve the lives of individuals who have limited access to traditional financial services.

• Fred joined Letshego soon after we first opened our doors 22 years ago, bringing with him relevant experience from reputable entities, including Grant Thornton, Cash Bazaar Holdings and Boart Longyear.
• Since commencing his first role in Letshego’s finance department, Fred immediately demonstrated his potential to swiftly and consistently expand his leadership and executive responsibilities.
• Fred led Letshego’s Botswana operations as Chief Executive Officer for ten years until 2016. When commencing his tenure at Letshego, the Botswana operations comprised of only two branches and minimal assets.
• Under Fred’s leadership, Letshego Botswana expanded to 16 branches countrywide, increasing access to relevant financial solutions for broader Batswana communities, secured by an asset base of over BWP2 Billion.
• Fred’s most recent role as Group Head of Consumer Solutions involved the effective alignment and consistent execution of Letshego’s financial solutions, leveraging opportunities to share best practice across our markets.
